Brookhaven Science Associates (BSA) offers two primary plans: the BSA Retirement Plan (a 401(a) money-purchase plan) with an automatic employer contribution of 9% of base salary (10% for employees hired before January 1, 2011), and a voluntary BSA 401(k) Plan that allows pre-tax and/or Roth contributions up to IRS limits. Both are administered through TIAA.
